Former Military Members Sentenced for Child Exploitation

Jacob Christian Butler, a 33-year-old former U.S. Air Force airman, has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison for possessing child sexual abuse images after a security breach at Fort Eisenhower revealed prohibited devices in his possession. Investigators discovered multiple images of child pornography on his phone and additional devices at his home contained similar content. He is required to register as a sex offender and will serve 15 years of supervised release post-incarceration. Meanwhile, Bailey Warren Lowe, a 25-year-old former Navy sailor, received a life sentence for coercing minors into sending explicit images and for committing sexual assault. Additionally, Stephen Lamond Lollis, a former Coast Guard member, was sentenced to over 11 years in prison for soliciting child pornography from several women and encouraging them to abuse their own children. These cases highlight the ongoing issues of sexual exploitation and child pornography involving military personnel.
