Despite Iwamasa's involvement, Lanier expressed that she believes he did not intend to harm Perry, highlighting the complexities surrounding the use of ketamine and its perceived benefits. Chapin has since retreated from Hollywood, seeking solace in travel with his husband to Portugal and Spain.
