Former Police Chief Charged with Homicide

John Sorace, an 87-year-old former assistant police chief in Nashville, has been charged with reckless homicide following the death of his wife, Sharon Sorace, at their Rutherford County home on January 9. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Sorace is currently being held on a $700,000 bond at the local detention center. Detective Capt.
