Two Inmates Escape Blackburn Correctional Complex

Kentucky State Police are actively searching for two inmates, Adam E. Ball, 38, and Bradley E. Cornwell, 40, who escaped from the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington on Sunday. The pair allegedly fled together in a water truck and were reportedly seen at a Shell gas station on Ironworks Pike, possibly heading toward Scott County. Ball is described as a white male, 6'3", 250 pounds with blonde hair, last seen in a khaki jumpsuit, while Cornwell is 6'0", 175 pounds with black hair, last seen in a white t-shirt and gray sweatpants. Both inmates have criminal histories, with Ball serving a 14-year sentence for theft and Cornwell a 10-year sentence for drug-related offenses. Authorities urge the public not to approach the inmates but to call 911 or KSP Post 12 with any information regarding their whereabouts.
