Blackhawks Hall of Fame Announced for Centennial

To mark their 100th anniversary in the 2025-26 season, the Chicago Blackhawks will launch a team Hall of Fame as the centerpiece of their 'Always An Original' centennial celebration. The Hall of Fame will have a permanent exhibition at the expanded Fifth Third Arena and will automatically induct the nine retired jersey players, such as Chris Chelios and Stan Mikita. Each year, one modern-era inductee (2000-01 or later) and one heritage-era inductee (pre-2000) will be chosen through equal-weighted voting by fans, alumni, and media, provided the player has been retired for at least three years. Additionally, a 'builder' like a coach or broadcaster may be inducted annually by a selection committee. The centennial festivities will unfold in four chapters, featuring themed game nights, interviews, giveaways, and exclusive merchandise for season ticket holders. The Hall of Fame responds to fan demand for broader recognition of contributors to the franchise's legacy.
