Minnesota Frost Defeats Boston Fleet Again, Ends Streak
The Minnesota Frost snapped a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory over the Boston Fleet, marking their fourth win against Boston this season. Taylor Heise and Brooke McQuigge scored two goals just 84 seconds apart in the first period, with Heise doubling her season goal total. Captain Kendall Coyne Schofield contributed by scoring and assisting on both of Heise's goals. As the PWHL's highest scoring team, Minnesota rebounded from scoring only four goals in their previous three losses. Nicole Hensley secured the win with 26 saves, as the Frost prepares to face the Toronto Sceptres, while Boston will host the New York Sirens next. Hilary Knight and Susanna Tapani scored for Boston, who fought to close the gap but ultimately fell short.
