Atlas Air Expands Long-Term 777F Capacity for Etihad Cargo Across Asia, Middle East, Europe
Atlas Air Worldwide has entered into two significant long-term agreements to provide dedicated Boeing 777 freighter capacity for Etihad Cargo and DSV, expanding its global airfreight services. For Etihad Cargo, the newly delivered 777F will operate routes linking Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, and Madrid, addressing rising demand across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe for sectors including e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, and perishables. This partnership builds on a relationship dating back to 2012 and supports Etihad's plan to grow its freighter fleet alongside its passenger operations, enhancing network connectivity and capacity with a commitment to sustainable logistics. Separately, Atlas Air will operate a 777-200F exclusively for DSV, supporting critical trade lanes between Asia, Europe, and the United States, notably the Huntsville-Luxembourg route, improving service with a fuel-efficient aircraft. Atlas Air highlights its extensive fleet, global scale, and operational flexibility as key to meeting growing customer demand and supporting supply chain growth globally. Both agreements underscore Atlas Air’s role as a trusted partner in the aviation logistics sector, helping customers capture growth opportunities with tailored, high-quality airfreight solutions.
