Polish Company Investigated for Supplying Parts to Iranian Drones
A Polish state-owned company, WSK Poznan, is under investigation for allegedly exporting parts that ended up in Iranian combat drones used in the Ukrainian invasion by Russia. The company sold pumps meant for tractors to Iran, which were then repurposed for drones. Polish prosecutors are looking into potential violations of export rules and dual-use product transfers without proper permits. Despite being a NATO member and a strong supporter of Ukraine, Poland is facing scrutiny over the sale of these components. The CEO of WSK Poznan at the time has been charged in connection with selling strategic products without clearance, potentially facing up to 10 years in prison.
