Kate Winslet Named Ambassador for King Charles' Foundation

Kate Winslet has been named the newest ambassador for King Charles' charity, The King's Foundation, joining the ranks of notable figures like Sir David Beckham, Sienna Miller, and Sir Rod Stewart. The foundation, established in 1990 when Charles was Prince of Wales, focuses on teaching young people skills such as millinery, woodworking, and sustainable farming, while promoting nature conservation and wellbeing. Winslet expressed her enthusiasm for the role, highlighting her shared passion with King Charles for protecting the natural world and encouraging youth engagement with the countryside. During the foundation’s 35th anniversary awards ceremony at St James's Palace, she assured the King of her full commitment, saying, "Don’t worry, I’ll be all in — I’ve got your back." Kristina Murrin, Chief Executive of the foundation, welcomed Winslet and looked forward to working with her to further the charity's mission. Winslet also emphasized her anticipation of collaborating with other ambassadors to make a positive difference in environmental and educational initiatives.
