Local Choirs Host Holiday Concerts and Fundraisers

Multiple Christmas concerts are set to take place across the UK, showcasing local talent and supporting charitable causes. The Hardyng Choir will perform at St John's Church in Harpenden on December 16, featuring organist Richard Hills and proceeds benefiting Harpenden Mencap. The Shenandoah Valley Children’s Choir will participate in Winter Wonderfest and perform at Eastern Mennonite University, highlighting the hard work of its 140 young choristers. Buckie Community Choir will lead a carol concert on December 12, encouraging audience participation and featuring remembrance trees for community messages. Additionally, the Inverness Choral Society will host a Carolthon on December 14 at the Eastgate Shopping Centre, raising funds for local charities, including Highland and Islands Blood Bikes. These events reflect the festive spirit and community involvement during the holiday season.
