Tennessee Baseball Adds Top Transfers Henry Ford, DJ Newman

The Tennessee Volunteers baseball team is actively rebuilding their roster for the upcoming season through the transfer portal after a disappointing 2025 season. They have secured several key transfers, including standout hitter Henry Ford from Virginia, who is a two-time All-ACC selection and a top-100 prospect for the 2025 MLB Draft. Ford brings impressive power to the Volunteers lineup, having hit 28 home runs in two seasons, and is considered a major addition alongside fellow transfers DJ Newman and Garrett Wright from Bowling Green. Newmann contributes as a two-way player with strong batting and pitching stats despite an injury-shortened season.
