Bengaluru Startup Beyond Appliances Raises $4 Million Series A Funding
Bengaluru-based smart kitchen appliances startup Beyond Appliances has raised $4 million in a Series A funding round led by Fireside Ventures, with participation from Dharana Capital, following a $2 million seed round in November 2024. Founded in 2024 by Eshwar K Vikas and Rakesh Patil, the company focuses on innovative products such as Android-powered chimneys, smart stoves, and plug-and-play chimneys tailored for Indian households. Beyond Appliances operates four manufacturing units producing 8,000–10,000 units monthly and plans to add two more facilities within the coming year to meet rising demand and support R&D. The startup's products are sold through online marketplaces, including Amazon and Flipkart, as well as retail outlets in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, with plans to expand its retail presence to Mumbai and Delhi. The company has doubled its revenues since the seed round and aims to strengthen its core product categories while entering new appliance segments, competing with established brands like Faber, Elica, and Hafele. Emphasizing Make in India and sustainability, Beyond Appliances seeks to become a category-defining brand by combining technology, durability, and contemporary design to enhance kitchen experiences for millions of households.
