Two men die, two arrested in M40 crash
A fatal crash on the M40 in Buckinghamshire claimed the lives of a 34-year-old man from Evesham and a 20-year-old man from Wisbech on March 24. The collision involved a grey BMW 340i, believed to be stolen from Oxfordshire, which crashed into the northbound carriageway at around 10:41 PM. Two other occupants of the vehicle, a 19-year-old from Evesham and a 22-year-old from Southam, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and burglary, and both sustained serious injuries requiring hospital treatment. Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage from the incident. The families of the deceased are being supported by specially trained officers. Lead investigator Richard Thorpe expressed condolences to the families and urged anyone with information to come forward.
