Jhadhav's loss marked the end of India's campaign in the men's individual event, following earlier eliminations of fellow archers Tarundeep Rai and Dhiraj Boomadevara. However, India's hopes in the women's individual event remain, with experienced archer Deepika Kumari and 18-year-old Bhajan Kaur set to compete in the pre-quarterfinals on Saturday. Both the Indian men's and women's teams had previously exited in the quarterfinal stages of the tournament.
