Kelce Joins Ravens Marching Band on MNF

Retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce — now a Monday Night Countdown commentator — surprised fans on Sept. 22, 2025 by donning a Baltimore Ravens marching band uniform and playing baritone sax during pregame at M&T Bank Stadium, performing the Ravens’ fight song and the Monday Night Football theme. Video clips shared by the NFL and Kelce’s social accounts (including posts from his brother Travis and their New Heights podcast) showed him cheering with band members and drew enthusiastic fan reactions. The cameo was notable because Kelce is an Eagles icon (seven Pro Bowls and a Super Bowl title) and spent his playing career in Philadelphia. Kelce has a long musical history — he played baritone sax in high school, has recorded with teammates as The Philly Specials and released holiday albums — and outlets framed the appearance as another lighthearted post-retirement “side quest” as he continues to appear around the league. The primetime Ravens–Lions matchup proceeded on ESPN’s Monday Night Football.
