Multi-vehicle crashes cause severe delays on M6, A42

Later in the day, another crash between junctions 28 and 29 resulted in two lanes closing and traffic delays of up to 60 minutes, with emergency services on scene. Additionally, a separate collision near junction 28 has led to further blocked lanes and increasing delays of at least 16 minutes, with reports of minor injuries. Emergency repairs on the M6 southbound between junctions 19 and 18 are also contributing to traffic congestion, with queues extending back to junction 20A. Authorities are advising drivers to plan for extra travel time as recovery efforts continue.
