Krumholtz, Beecham Join Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow Cast

David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham have joined the cast of the upcoming film 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,' where they will portray Supergirl's parents, Zor-El and Alura. The film stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El and is directed by Craig Gillespie, with production having recently begun in the UK. Based on Tom King's comic series, the story focuses on a young girl named Ruthye seeking revenge for her father's murder, with Eve Ridley playing Ruthye and Matthias Schoenaerts cast as the villain Krem. Jason Momoa is also set to appear as Lobo, adding to the film's star-studded lineup. This film is part of the new DC Universe being developed by James Gunn and Peter Safran, and it is scheduled for release on June 26, 2026. Gunn has indicated that this version of Supergirl will differ significantly from previous portrayals, emphasizing her darker backstory.
