FAA Investigates Near Collision Involving Gonzaga Jet

The Key Lime Air flight was instructed by air traffic controllers to hold short of a runway due to a Delta aircraft taking off, but it nearly crossed the hold bars before being ordered to stop. No injuries occurred, and the jet did not cross the runway edge line. Captured audio from the incident shows controllers urgently commanding the flight to 'Stop, stop, stop.' Gonzaga's team members were reportedly unaware of the situation at the time, and the university expressed relief that the incident ended safely. Gonzaga was in Los Angeles for a game against UCLA, which they lost 65-62 shortly after the incident.
