Rugby Championship call-up

Ruben Love has been named in the 36-man All Blacks squad for the Rugby Championship, marking his first official call-up, which he described as a dream come true. His family expressed immense pride, particularly his father, former Māori All Black Matene Love, who noted his son's hard work and dedication to the sport. Alongside Love, captain Scott Barrett will participate despite recent surgery, and lock Josh Lord has been added as injury cover. Experienced players Sam Cane, David Havili, and Will Jordan also return to the squad, bringing valuable leadership. The All Blacks will begin their title defense with two home matches against Argentina on August 10 and 17, followed by two away games against South Africa.
