86-Year-Old Shawnee Man Dies From April Overland Park Crash Injuries

Jacob Webb, an 86-year-old man from Shawnee, Kansas, died on May 19 from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on April 20 at the intersection of West 143rd Street and King Street in Overland Park. Webb was attempting to make a left turn from northbound King Street onto westbound 143rd Street when his vehicle was struck by another car traveling eastbound on 143rd Street. He was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries before succumbing to them nearly a month later. The Overland Park Police Department is still investigating the crash and has requested anyone with information to contact their Traffic Unit.
