Pasadena Police Search for Assault Suspect

Pasadena police are investigating a reported sexual assault involving a 12-year-old girl at a bus stop near the Metro Lake Avenue station on Wednesday morning. The girl was approached by a man, described as being in his 30s or 40s, who sat next to her and allegedly assaulted her before fleeing on a bicycle. She reported the incident to school officials shortly after arriving at school. Although no detailed suspect description was provided, he was last seen wearing a long-sleeve jacket and black sweatpants. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Pasadena Police Department. Fortunately, the girl was not physically injured but was understandably shaken by the experience.
