Man, Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Lincoln Assault

Two individuals, Sarah Mason and Matthew Pearson, have been charged with attempted murder following an assault on a 37-year-old man in Lincoln. The incident occurred on August 31 at a property on Monks Road, where the victim was found with serious injuries and remains in hospital in a serious condition. Mason and Pearson were arrested on September 5 after a public appeal by Lincolnshire Police and have been remanded in custody. Pearson faces additional charges including assaulting emergency workers and criminal damage.
