Indiana Man Arrested with Six Pounds of Cocaine
In Wisconsin, a 40-year-old man was arrested after being pulled over for driving without headlights, where police discovered cocaine and a half-full pitcher of beer in his vehicle. The man, who has a revoked license and a history of OWI offenses, registered a blood alcohol concentration of 0.11 and faces multiple charges, including OWI fourth offense and possession of controlled substances. Meanwhile, in Indiana, a traffic stop on U.S. 30 led to the arrest of 44-year-old Jarvis Buchanan, who was found with three kilograms (over six pounds) of suspected cocaine and $3,000 in cash. A K-9 unit alerted officers to narcotics in Buchanan's BMW SUV, and he was charged with possession of cocaine, a Level 3 felony. Both incidents highlight ongoing issues related to drug use and impaired driving in the Midwest.
