Luke Humphries in Czech Open
World champion Luke Humphries secured his second Czech Darts Open title with an impressive 8-1 victory over Kim Huybrechts in Prague, averaging 105.57. Throughout the tournament, he conceded only 11 legs across five matches, including a semi-final win against 17-year-old Luke Littler, who had previously set a tournament record with a 116.51 average. Humphries began his campaign with three consecutive 6-2 victories against Ritchie Edhouse, Gian van Veen, and Mike De Decker, the latter of whom he avenged after losing to in the World Grand Prix final. In the final, Humphries took control early and maintained dominance with three consecutive 12-darters. Reflecting on his performance, he expressed a desire to improve further and commit to winning more titles next year. Littler's remarkable run included defeating Michael van Gerwen with the highest losing average in European Tour history at 112.19.
