The court dismissed Guobadia's claims that Williams misrepresented her intentions regarding her career and found no basis for his arguments of fraud or misrepresentation, asserting that he was aware of her reality TV career when they signed the prenup. Williams successfully quashed Guobadia's subpoena for documents related to her employer, True Entertainment, and was awarded attorney’s fees by the court. This ruling is pivotal as it reinforces the prenup's design to prevent costly litigation in the event of a divorce. Williams filed for divorce in February after 15 months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
