Sparks End Fever Streak, Win Seventh in Eight Games
The Los Angeles Sparks defeated the Indiana Fever 100-91, ending Indiana's five-game win streak and marking the Sparks' seventh victory in eight games. Rickea Jackson led the Sparks with 25 points, and Azura Stevens contributed 19 points, including a crucial three-pointer late in the game. Kelsey Plum, previously credited in error, does not play for the Sparks. Indiana's Kelsey Mitchell scored 34 points, but the Fever struggled defensively and received little support from their bench while star rookie Caitlin Clark missed her eighth consecutive game due to a groin injury. The Sparks have swept all three matchups against the Fever this season. The game was briefly interrupted when a sex toy was thrown onto the court near Indiana's Sophie Cunningham, who laughed off the incident.
