A 14-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of 80-year-old Bhim Sen Kohli, who died following an attack in Franklin Park while walking his dog. The incident occurred just seconds from Kohli's home, and he succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to the hospital. Initially, five youths were arrested, but only the 14-year-old has been charged, with others released without further action. Andrew Baxter, Deputy Chief Crown Prosecutor, emphasized the importance of ensuring a fair trial as proceedings are now active. Kohli's family and community have expressed their grief, describing him as a kind and active man who cherished his family and gardening. The charged youth is set to appear in Leicester Youth Court soon.
