Huddersfield Town has officially signed striker Freddie Ladapo on a two-year contract following his release from Ipswich Town. The 31-year-old, who has previously played for clubs including Rotherham and Plymouth, scored 25 goals during his time at Ipswich and had a loan spell at Charlton Athletic last season. Sporting Director Mark Cartwright stated that Huddersfield had been monitoring Ladapo all summer and acted quickly once he became a free agent. Head Coach Michael Duff emphasized the importance of adding a player with promotion experience, especially due to current squad limitations caused by injuries and suspensions. Ladapo will be available for selection in Huddersfield's upcoming match against Bolton Wanderers.
