Freddie Ladapo Joins Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town has officially signed striker Freddie Ladapo on a two-year contract following his release from Ipswich Town. The 31-year-old, who has previously played for clubs including Rotherham and Plymouth, scored 25 goals during his time at Ipswich and had a loan spell at Charlton Athletic last season. Sporting Director Mark Cartwright stated that Huddersfield had been monitoring Ladapo all summer and acted quickly once he became a free agent. Head Coach Michael Duff emphasized the importance of adding a player with promotion experience, especially due to current squad limitations caused by injuries and suspensions. Ladapo will be available for selection in Huddersfield's upcoming match against Bolton Wanderers. This signing comes as Huddersfield aims to strengthen their attack after being relegated from the Championship last season.
