Jordan Pope Named to Bob Cousy Watchlist

Samis Calderon, a 2025 basketball recruit, plans to visit Kentucky in November following official visits to Auburn, Michigan, and Tennessee, with an upcoming visit to Kansas from Nov. 3-5. Texas A&M's Wade Taylor IV has been named to the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year preseason watchlist for the second consecutive year, highlighting his impressive stats from last season. Similarly, Texas Tech's senior point guard Elijah Hawkins has also made the Bob Cousy watchlist after transferring from Minnesota, where he showcased strong performance metrics. Texas Longhorns' Jordan Pope, who transferred from Oregon State, joins the watchlist as well, having led his previous team in scoring and assists last season. The Bob Cousy Award recognizes the top point guard in Division I men’s basketball, with fans encouraged to participate in the voting process starting November 1. The award's finalists will be announced in early March, culminating in a winner reveal at the Final Four in San Antonio.
