Multiple Texas Organizations Mobilize Flood Relief Efforts Across Central, West Regions
In response to catastrophic flooding in Central and South Texas, multiple organizations and companies have mobilized substantial aid and relief efforts. The Shreveport Fire Department deployed four swift water rescue technicians to support rescue and recovery operations in flood-affected areas, working alongside local and national teams. Anheuser-Busch contributed $100,000 to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund and donated over 20,000 cans of emergency drinking water, while Karbach Brewing Company provided an additional $25,000 and organized fundraising efforts through merchandise sales and restaurant donations. Rita’s shops across Texas also pledged to donate a portion of sales to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund to support local families, first responders, and recovery initiatives. Chevron committed up to $500,000 in donations, split among the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, Team Rubicon, and the Fuel Relief Fund, and launched a 2:1 employee matching program to enhance its support for rescue, relief, and recovery services in the affected regions. These collaborative efforts reflect a broad commitment from private and public sectors to assist communities impacted by the floods.
