Body of Missing Woman Found Near Seattle Park

The body of Shannon Marie Caslin Reeder, 37, was found in a suitcase at a Seattle homeless encampment near Dr. Jose Rizal Park on September 27, nearly a year after she was last seen. This discovery occurred during a clearance of the encampment following a nearby shooting incident. Authorities are working to piece together her movements leading up to her death, and the King County Medical Examiner’s Office is determining the cause of death.
