Chargers, Chiefs Open 2025 NFL Season in Brazil, YouTube Streams Free

The 2025 NFL season will kick off on September 5 with a historic international game in São Paulo, Brazil, where the Los Angeles Chargers will face the Kansas City Chiefs at Corinthians Arena. This game marks the first time an NFL game will be streamed exclusively and for free worldwide on YouTube and YouTube TV, setting a new precedent for NFL broadcasting and expanding the league's global reach. YouTube, which last year saw over 350 million hours of NFL content watched, plans to offer an interactive and creator-driven viewing experience. The Chargers, coming off a playoff appearance, aim to build on their success with offseason upgrades, while the Chiefs continue their international presence having played multiple games abroad. The NFL and YouTube have also signed a multi-year deal to stream the Super Bowl Flag Football game and additional international flag football games.
