Four astronauts, three Americans and one Russian, returned to Earth after a nearly eight-month mission on the International Space Station, as their return was delayed due to issues with Boeing's Starliner capsule and Hurricane Milton. The SpaceX Dragon capsule landed safely in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Florida early on Friday. Originally scheduled to return two months earlier, the crew faced an empty Starliner return in September due to safety concerns and subsequent weather-related delays. SpaceX had launched the astronauts, including NASA's Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt, and Jeanette Epps, and Roscosmos's Alexander Grebenkin, in March. Barratt praised the support teams for their adaptability during the mission. The space station now resumes its typical crew size of seven, consisting of four Americans and three Russians.
