Andy Murray has ended his six-month coaching stint with Novak Djokovic, with both expressing mutual appreciation on social media. Following this split, Murray is now available for new coaching opportunities and has previously expressed interest in coaching several top players, including Emma Raducanu, Carlos Alcaraz, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Jack Draper. However, a coaching partnership between Murray and Raducanu this summer is unlikely, as Raducanu has already committed to working with Mark Petchey for the entire grass-court season, including Wimbledon. Petchey, who previously coached Raducanu in 2020, has contributed to her recent improved performance, with Raducanu winning eight of 11 matches since their reunion. Murray’s potential new coaching roles may also involve British players like Draper, given their close relationship, while other top players have their own established coaching teams. Raducanu’s focus on her physical conditioning and coaching stability with Petchey and fitness trainer Yutaka Nakamura signals a positive trajectory for her upcoming tournaments.
