Marcus Miranda Arrested for Brockton Shooting

In Brockton, Massachusetts, Marcus Miranda, 20, was arrested at Logan International Airport while attempting to flee the country. He faces multiple charges, including murder, in connection with the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Romualdy Pierre-Charles on July 24. Authorities also charged Govanni Carapinha, 23, who is currently receiving medical treatment, with murder and various firearm offenses. Surveillance footage revealed three suspects in the shooting, with one being wounded and later identified as Carapinha. Both suspects are currently held without bail, and the investigation continues as authorities search for a third, unidentified suspect. Miranda was arraigned on Tuesday in Brockton District Court, maintaining a plea of not guilty.
