Tyson Foods Adds Xbox President Sarah Bond to Board
Tyson Foods has appointed Sarah Bond, President of Xbox at Microsoft, as an independent director to its board, effective immediately. Bond brings significant experience in consumer technology, having led Xbox’s $23 billion global gaming business and previously held leadership roles at T-Mobile and McKinsey & Company. She also serves on the boards of the Entertainment Software Association and USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, and holds degrees from Yale and Harvard Business School. Board Chairman John H. Tyson praised Bond's dynamic leadership and expressed confidence in her ability to support Tyson Foods' long-term growth. With Bond’s appointment, Tyson’s board now includes 16 members, 10 of whom are independent directors. Non-executive director compensation at Tyson Foods ranged from $157,000 to $533,000 in the most recent fiscal year.
