Multiple cleanliness initiatives have been launched across India under the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign. In Gandhinagar, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the tenth edition of 'Seva Setu' to assist beneficiaries of government schemes. The Delhi government plans to convert Gramin Seva auto services to electric vehicles to improve rural connectivity. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 74th birthday will kick off a service fortnight with various community activities. Cleanliness drives have also been initiated in Itanagar, Vijayawada, and Tiruchi, emphasizing public participation, awareness, and the welfare of sanitation workers. Additionally, Indore and other high-ranking cities will compete in a new Golden Cities Club to inspire improved cleanliness efforts in lower-ranked cities.
