Gunnar Gundy Joins Revamped OSU Coaching Staff

Gunnar Gundy, former quarterback for Oklahoma State and Emporia State, is returning to Oklahoma State as a quality control assistant for the quarterbacks, joining his father Mike Gundy's coaching staff. After an impressive season at Emporia State where he threw for 2,751 yards, 23 touchdowns, and ran for 299 yards, Gundy decided to forego his final year of eligibility to start his coaching career. He joins a revamped coaching team at Oklahoma State, which includes several new hires following a disappointing 3-9 season. This move marks a return to Stillwater for Gunnar, who spent most of his college career at OSU, primarily as a backup. His new role will see him working closely with quarterbacks, alongside his cousin K.C. Gundy, who also serves in a quality control position. The coaching staff overhaul aims to address key concerns and improve the team's offensive performance.
