Israel forces in Jabaliya

The Israeli military has launched a new ground operation in Jabaliya, northern Gaza, deploying the 162nd Division alongside the 401st and 460th brigades to encircle the area. This operation is a response to intelligence indicating that Hamas is attempting to rebuild its operational capabilities and has established infrastructure in the region. Prior to the ground assault, the Israeli Air Force conducted extensive airstrikes targeting weapons depots, tunnels, and other militant sites. The military has reported numerous casualties from the overnight bombardments, which have displaced almost all residents of Jabaliya.
