Prince Harry to stay in US

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have firmly decided to remain in the United States with no plans to return to the UK. Harry expressed at The New York Times DealBook Summit that he enjoys living in the U.S., where he and his family experience a level of privacy and security not possible in the UK. He cited that an American life is 'the life my mum wanted' for him, referencing his mother, Princess Diana's, tragic death and his concerns about privacy and safety. Despite stepping back from royal duties and facing scrutiny over his U.S. residency, including concerns about visa challenges, Harry remains committed to staying in America. The couple is focused on raising their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in Montecito, California, where they settled in 2020. Harry continues to hold his royal title but shows no interest in returning to royal duties.
