Typically, the zoo sees around 800 visitors on weekdays, but this number has surged to between 3,000 and 4,000, with 20,000 visitors over a recent weekend. Zookeeper Atthapon Nundee expressed his surprise at the overwhelming public interest, stating he never anticipated such a response. Notably, the zoo has implemented measures to ensure Moo Deng's safety, including surveillance and a warning against throwing objects at her.
