India has announced a 15-member squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, set to take place in the UAE from October 3 to 20. The tournament has been relocated from Bangladesh to the UAE due to political unrest. India is placed in Group A, alongside Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, and will kick off their campaign against New Zealand on October 4. The squad includes two wicketkeeper options, Richa Ghosh and Yastika Bhatia, with the latter's participation contingent on fitness. India aims to capture their first T20 World Cup title after reaching the semifinals in the previous edition.
