Delaware Police Identify Three Dead in Frederica Murder-Suicide

Delaware State Police have identified three family members involved in a murder-suicide incident that occurred on August 6, 2025, in Frederica's Highpoint Mobile Home Park. The victims were 18-year-old Ethan Christensen and 81-year-old Linda Hyman, who were fatally shot, and the suspect, 53-year-old Staci Marie Christensen, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Staci Marie Christensen was determined to be responsible for the shootings before taking her own life. Police have not disclosed details regarding the motive or the reason for the welfare check that led to the discovery of the victims. Authorities continue to investigate the case and are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Alan Bluto. Crisis support resources have also been provided for those in need.
