Pendulum Announces First Album In 15 Years Featuring Multiple Collaborations

Australian electro-rock band Pendulum is set to release their first album in 15 years, titled 'Inertia', on August 22. The 16-track album, produced by frontman Rob Swire and Owen Charles, features collaborations with artists including Bullet For My Valentine, Wargasm, AWOLNATION, Scarlxrd, Joey Valence & Brae, and Hybrid Minds. The new single 'Save The Cat' showcases a blend of drum and bass energy and screamo vocals, reflecting themes of self-questioning and emotional struggle following breakups. Swire described the album as a personal and experimental project inspired by The Prodigy's evolution, aiming to push the boundaries of Pendulum's sound while exploring themes of identity and recovery. The album follows their 2010 LP 'Immersion' and recent EPs 'Elemental' and 'Anima', and the band plans to support 'Inertia' with live UK shows this summer. This release marks a significant return for Pendulum, blending their signature breakbeat style with alt-rock and emotional depth.
