Unreleased Michael Jackson Songs Discovered in California

A collection of 12 unreleased Michael Jackson songs from the late 1980s and early 1990s has been discovered in a California storage unit by Gregg Musgrove, a former California Highway Patrol officer. These tracks, including 'Don't Believe It' and 'Truth on Youth', were recorded leading up to Jackson's 'Dangerous' album and feature collaborations with artists like LL Cool J. The storage unit originally belonged to producer Bryan Loren, who worked with Jackson. Although the Jackson estate holds the rights to Jackson's music, they declined to purchase the tapes and stated they do not claim ownership, making them legally unreleasable. The recordings provide rare insights into Jackson's creative process, including studio conversations with Loren. Musgrove plans to auction the tapes, although they cannot be publicly released due to copyright restrictions.
