Local Art Exhibitions Showcase Regional Artists

Various art exhibitions are set to open in early 2024, showcasing the creativity of local artists. Lora Miller's Plein Aire exhibit, 'In the Open Air,' will feature her spontaneous watercolor paintings inspired by nature and opens on January 3 at In-Town Gallery in Chattanooga, with a reception on January 10. The Gold Country Artists Gallery in Placerville will hold its annual Blue Tag Sale throughout January, offering discounted artworks from local artists during the Third Saturday Artwalk on January 18. Meanwhile, the Experience Gallery in Denver is currently showcasing 'Incubator,' an interactive exhibit that explores human consciousness through art, open from 4 to 7 p.m. on weekdays. Additionally, the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montréal will present 'Being There: Photography in Arthur Erickson’s Early Travel Diaries' from November 14, 2024, to March 16, 2025, focusing on the architect's early travels and influences. Lastly, the Tamworth Regional Gallery celebrates its textile collection's 50th anniversary with an exhibition highlighting the region's artistic heritage, running until January 26, 2025.
