Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Receives Record $125 Million Donation

Connecticut Children’s Medical Center is enhancing its community engagement through a series of events aimed at raising awareness and support for pediatric care, spearheaded by individuals like Andi Sklar. Similarly, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has announced a transformative $125 million gift to construct Roberts Children's Health, a new inpatient tower that promises to set a new standard in pediatric care by 2028. Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital received over $184,000 from Spirit of Children, supporting its Child Life department and improving the experience for young patients through therapeutic activities. The Spirit of Children initiative has raised over $1.3 million since 2013, demonstrating significant community investment in child health. Additionally, local efforts are also evident, such as Bowsman School student Letti Zwarich's hair donation to Angel Hair for Kids, which provides wigs for financially disadvantaged children facing hair loss.
