T.J. Miller, who portrayed Weasel in the first two Deadpool films, has expressed interest in returning for a potential Deadpool 4 after previously stating he would never work with Ryan Reynolds again. In a recent interview on SiriusXM’s The Bonfire, Miller revealed that he and Reynolds have reconnected, describing Reynolds as a 'good friend' and stating that returning for the next installment would be 'awesome.' This comes after a history of controversies for Miller, including accusations of sexual assault and a 2018 arrest related to a fake bomb threat, which he denied. Miller had criticized Reynolds for allegedly belittling him on the Deadpool 2 set, leading to his initial reluctance to collaborate again. Despite the success of Deadpool & Wolverine, which is now the highest-grossing R-rated film ever, no official announcement for a fourth film has been made yet. Miller's return hinges on Reynolds offering him the role, signaling a potential reconciliation between the two actors.
