Griffin, Nowitzki Join Prime Video NBA Show

Prime Video is set to launch its NBA coverage with a new studio show featuring former NBA stars Blake Griffin and Dirk Nowitzki, alongside seasoned reporter Taylor Rooks. Griffin, a former first overall pick and six-time All-Star who retired in April, was highly sought after by networks like NBC and ESPN before joining Prime Video. Nowitzki, a 14-time All-Star and 2007 MVP, will also make his debut as an analyst following his Hall of Fame induction in 2023. The studio show will be based in Culver City, California, and will cover 66 regular season games, including all quarterfinals of the in-season NBA Cup and playoff matches throughout the 11-year media rights deal. Rooks brings her experience from covering sports on various platforms, adding depth to the team. This marks an exciting new chapter for Prime Video as it expands its sports broadcasting portfolio.
