Grandmother Mauled to Death by XL Bullies

A 68-year-old woman has been killed in a dog attack in Essex. Esther Martin was visiting her 11-year-old grandson at a property in Jaywick when she was mauled by two XL Bully dogs, a breed recently banned in the UK. The man suspected of owning the dogs, believed to be the boy's father, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous dog offences. Ms Martin's daughter, Sonia Martin, told MailOnline her mother had previously warned the owner the dogs were dangerous, and that there were six other puppies in the house at the time. She also alleged the man had responded to her mother's warning with the comment, "no one tells me what to do with my f*****g dogs".
